He looks down at the girl. Her arms are lifted above her head and her wrists are crossed. She offers herself to him. "Please Master this girl begs to be yours."We all seen this scene played out dozens of times. A Master finds a pleasing kajira. She wants to be his. He claims her and collars her. There is just one more question to answer. NOW WHAT????
"You wish to please me?" He asks her as he stoically glares at her.
"Yes Master. Please the girl begs to be allowed to be yours and please you."
Tears begin to flow down her lovely cheeks. She trembles slightly as his eyes stay locked on her, just wanting to feel his touch.
He steps closer and closes his hands around her wrists. His other hand wraps in her hair and pulls her head back and locks his eyes with hers. "You are mine. I claim you as my kajira." He pulls a collar from his pack and shows it to her. "This shall circle your neck. It simply says you are my property."
She smiles widely as he locks the steel collar around her neck. The other kajirae witnessing this event bounce with excitement as tears of joy fill their eyes for their sister. The master steps back and looks at his new acquisition. "Come girl follow your master."He has the kajira, but now what does he do with her? Oh he can take her to the furs. And I'm sure he will, but after the furs what does he do. Kiss her good night and send her to the kennels? What some do not realize is that the locking of a collar brings with it a great deal of responsibility.
This may only be an online collaring, but there is still a person behind that screen wearing the collar. I will speak of an online collaring only here. Perhaps later I will expand this as all relationships are different.
The Master and slave can enjoy a great deal of fun. Ahn upon ahn can be spent exploring each other and fulfilling fantasies, but there is more to owning a kajira than just a fun time in the furs. Slaves require a great deal of care and training. If all a master wants is a good sex toy then the following is moot. But if he desires a well-rounded valuable pleasing kajira then he needs to see to her needs.
Owning a slave is not a one way street. She will see to his needs and desires. He will have to take care of her. He has paid a lot for her and put a lot of tarsks and time into her. He can not allow her to get hurt or damaged.
And yes we do care for our slave too, but it is best not to become too emotionally attached or we stop having slaves and end up with girlfriends and the collar quickly becomes a ring that fits his nose.
So this leads to to our main question, Now What? What does he do?
Remember now that none of this is carved in stone. I merely suggest ways to make your time on Gor with your slave more enjoyable. I speak here of owning slavegirls. I'm sure a lot of this will apply to kajirus or thralls as well, but I have no experience with them so can't stay for sure.
- TRAINING - Begin by training her in Gor. Gor is much more than sex and bondage. There is a plethora of plants and animals native to Gor. (If she saw an ost, would she know what it is and what to do?) Gor also has a rich culture. The different regions all have different customs. If the Master doesn't know them he could ask some Free People that have been around longer and do know them. (We will help out if we can.)
- CARE - As with anyone slaves require care. All she has and will get comes from the Master. All she will be come from him too. She can become a better kajira, or become a very bitter and nasty woman from neglect. Part of that care includes making sure they become the best kajira possible. She needs to know how to behave around other Masters and Mistresses when you are not around. If she is displeasing she may be beaten, bound or locked up. This would fall to the Master's shoulders because he didn't take the time to care for her education as a kajira.
- WORK - She should have duties to perform for you everyday. Slaves aren't just pets that are allowed to lounge around all day until the Master arrives. Think about it. Warrior will have tunics that need repair, shields to be polished, food to be prepared. Physicians will have equipment to be cleaned and Scribes will have scrolls to be sorted and supplies stocked. Every caste will have so-called "grunt" work that slaves would do. Keeping a slave involved in your care and with chores will create an enjoyable time for you both.
- REWARDS - Ok we've begun training her, taken care of her by making sure she doesn't offend other free people and have given her duties to perform. (Not to mention using her in the furs and humping like little bunnies.)
Now she should have a reason for staying with you. Being a slave and wanting to nothing but serve you will only keep her around so long. Rewarding her devotion and loyalty will become a reward for the master too. A new set of silks, or a chain for her waist gives her something to show off. Bracelets and anklets are not only rewards for her, but and be a joy to see and hear as she moves to kneel before you.
