Fane smiles honey says: okies..The first question is obvious..How did You get interested in Gor..and CT of course

Fane says: I once heard somebody talking about Gor taverns on irc, so I became curious and visited a couple and then just jumped right into it. Gor appealed to certain interestes and desires in me.

Fane says: Then I left Gor and online communities for about a year. One day I was looking at talker lists and saw IR listed and decided to visit.. then I noticed they had a Gor tavern so I had to visit that.

honey grins.."the lure being?"

Fane laughs. "The whole Gor environment and the potential it had in a talker... and then of course slave girls."

honey eyes twinkle with mirth. "aii, of course"

Fane says: Also, I knew that if it were connected to IR it would be done with some thought and planning and work.

honey agrees.."and do You think it possible? For a Gor type Master/slave relationship to work IRL?"

Fane says: I think that a two people can have a Master slave relationship with a Gorean theme rl and that it can work for them.

Fane says: No I read a bucket of them back a few years ago and then have recently been reading a few that I've dug up around the house.

honey asks: Well, now..when did You become Captain of the Council in our fair city?

Fane says: Hmmm Some months ago but I can't recall which.

honey asks: Is it merely a title?..or Do You have duties?

Fane says: Well, I oversee the free promotions. I lead the council when we have meetings, officiate during the Ubar's absence, approve silking nominations, write files for the city as needed, deal with rule breakers, instruct state owned slaves in the expectations of the city as needed, award silks and other gifts as the council deems fit, and run auctions

Fane says: oh I have another one.. I hug the first girl often enough to keep her sane.

honey chuckles. "How did You become fond of paga?"

Fane says: It goes back to my seafaring days. Water gets murky and bad, but nothing hurts paga.

Fane says: well...actually my parents lived in Lara which is on the juncture of the Vosk and Olni and couldn't sail anything

Fane nods. "Also the lure of gold. I am a trader as well as a sailor."

Fane nods. "though I have killed more with poetry than with the sword."

honey asks: Is that part of what Master Fane would call..training?

Fane says: Hmmm no it is more along the lines of a seafaring tradition. She has it good on the ship for the most part

honey asks: So what kind of training does Master Fane deem important?

Fane says: I received a lot of questions about the raffle offer. I will tell you what I'm up to with that

Fane says: I wanted to try something different

honey asks: different..as opposed to pampering?

Fane says: Yes, I didn't want it to be an extended date. So I thought I'd make it clear that it would be about training and that I would treat the slave as a slave.

Fane says: It would also be about my relationship with the slave and hers with me. But if we began on the note that it would be more on the slave conservative side of Gor then we might have a chance for a more intense experience.

honey asks: Does Master Fane allow a slave opinions?

Fane says: Yes

honey nods. "Is it more of a BDSM experience?"

Fane says: I think BDSM is rather different from Gor... at least my vision of the two environments differ in variousways

honey says: please... expound

Fane laughs and closes his eyes and thinks for a bit...

Fane says: I'll answer it in term of online experiences. People come to a Gor port for different reasons than they might come to a BDSM port.

Fane says: There are different expectations and a different culture. They may share some things in common ... the tools of discipline or punishment or whatever one wishes to call them.

Fane says: they share those and also the dominant/submissive relationships

honey asks: may a girl interject?

honey asks: Seems most people do venture to CT thru IR..does Master Fane think then that these slaves want or need strict guidance?

Fane says: yes they come here wishing to be slaves and wishing to be treated accordingly

Fane says: Out of the slaves who leave here disappointed in their experience, I venture to say that most of them do so because they were not treated as slaves, as they had expected to be treated.

honey says: sister lefaye proposed an idea..of a kajirae learning center. Would the city entertain such?

Fane says: I think the city would entertain the notion of kajira helping each other and perhaps a learning center too .. depending on the details

Fane says: the only thing we wish to avoid is....

Fane says: Any one Master or group of Masters or slave or group of slaves establishing their own subgroup so that there is division instead of community.

Fane nods. "We always hope to see people participating at least some of the time with the larger community"

honey giggles sweetly. "Nasty little peckers."
