Tal, and welcome!

Welcome to a third edition of the Baren Touhk Gazette. And a very special issue it is too. This year's Harvest Festival garnered us the most people logged on at any single time. And add to that additional people logging in and out during those days and taking part in the activites, there is no doubt that the Harvest Festival was a great success!

So in honor of that and for the benefit of people who couldn't be for every single event, we have the transcripts of three of the events (Poetry Readings, Kajuralia Tavern and Auction) plus the answers to the trivia questions you've seen posted in various rooms all over the city. Enjoy!

Also in the issue we're introducing a new column called Third Knowledge which will devote itself to issues of a more technical nature... how to make the most of your talker program, commands and hints for communicating with CT and even hints and tips on creating Gor web pages and researching on the internet.

Thanks, as always go out to aurora for keeping me as updated as possible on events as well as her logs of the poetry readings and kajuralia events. And thanks too for Maal for another great poetry column and Xavier for another fine submission. serafina too receives thanks for providing a transcript of the auction and the answers to the trivia questions and to all the others who have submitted announcements and news items.

Also, as always, we need your support in keeping the gazette an active and informative publication. The call for submissions is always out and there is space for anything of interest or entertaining. It's a good way to feel involved in the community (and it's said one could earn some credits for the next auction).

Some items to send in or ask about constributing to are...

  • News of collarings or silkings
  • roleplaying events
  • personal announcements (but not personal ads please)
  • poems or songs
