Harvest Festival Information
Harvest Festival Information
Big thanks go to the efforts or all the participants and organizers of the Harvest Festival. Presented here are information files for the auction and raffle. Thanks to aurora and Khim for providing the info.
Information Regarding Auction and Raffle Procedures
- Since this is a Kajuralia festival we are raffling Freeperson to slaves. Each raffle ticket costs 100 credits. Freepersons may set the time limits they offer. Those wishing to go on raffle must notify aurora by the morning of Sept 3. Type .help raffle for information.
- The council is giving 1000 credits to all slaves on Sept 3, and they may buy up to 11 tickets by also using 100 credits of their own. They may purchase more than one ticket per person to increase their chance of winning them. No slave can buy more than 11 tickets with borrowed or given credits.
- Since this is a Kajuralia festival, the slaves that purchase the Freeperson get most of the control of the scene negotiations, within personal consensual limits of both parties, and please understand that rl comes first for all parties involved.
- If the Freeperson is NOT willing to scene as a slave if the buyer wished, then it is best to wait until another raffle in the future. Kajuralia is a festival where there is a little bit of fun role reversal play. If a Freeperson wants a guarantee that they their role will be "Free" then it is better to participate in this festival by "buying" a slave rather then raffling themself off.
- Raffle code will be set up by the evening of Sept 3. Slaves may begin buying tickets at any time after that. No raffles may be purchased after 9 p.m. EST on Sept 11. Names will be drawn at the close of the auction, and announced as soon as possible.
- Since you do not have to be present at the drawing, we are allowing slaves that can not attend the auction to offer themself on raffle. No slave may buy another slave that's on raffle though.
- Anyone on raffle or auction can reject certain users from purchasing them. Those on auction may type .set igall (username) before the auction starts. Type .help set igall for detail. Those on raffle will notify aurora of which users they do NOT wish to be purchased by. This is their right to block anyone they choose for any reason..
- Either party of a raffle or auction may even back out of the deal for any reason and ask for full or partial refund as seems fair. Parties may also mutually agree to extend the deal if both consent. The parties have 30 days to fulfill the auction or raffle arrangements. If you notify us, that the deal
was not fulfilled within this time frame, a full or partial refund can be issued.
- The council will give any Freeperson that goes on raffle 3000 credits for their willingness to participate in the spirit of Kajuralia. Freepersons will also get the credits earned by the sale of the raffle tickets themselves.
- Slaves will get the purchase price of the auction, but must somehow get rid of those credits by the end of the day by giving them to a Freeperson of their choice.
- The auction bidding begins when the auctioneer opens the bidding on the auctionnee. To see your available funds type .balance. To bid on a person type .bid # (for example, .bid 50) Emoting a bid rather than actually using the .bid command results in a fine to your account. This fine is double the
amount you emote.
- This auction will be logged and will be made available on the CT web page. See .show www for address.
- For a preview of festival auctionees type .show auction. You must be present to be auctioned. If you show up late, you risk losing your auction opportunity. You cannot place bids on someone else's behalf. You cannot buy an auctionee "for" someone else. This defeats the .set igall function. Any arrangement mutually negotiated after purchase is fine.
