tia would like to extend greetings to the Citizens of Baren Touhk and many thanks for the support and well wishes during her first few months as first girl here. It could have been a very difficult few months but it has been made pleasureable by the warmth and helpfulness of the citizens and the Council.

• Something to note. It is wonderful to see so many new faces in the city, and slaves have been doing their best to keep the Tavern and Inn well covered. For those slaves that are working hard and posting their efforts to the room boards; it is a lot of work for the DM's to go around and clean up the boards every five days or so. tia isn't asking that you stop posting to the boards, just that you keep track of your own writings and remove them yourself after a few days to stop the boards from getting unwieldy with twenty or thirty messages at a time on them. Use .help wipe to find out how to remove your own messages and .search to search which rooms have messages that include your own name.

• As the city grows tia would like to remind everyone to be patient with new users and help them learn of Gor and the rules of Baren Touhk. If you see a new user being helped already in the portal, perhaps wait until they are on their own before going to them or sending them too many .tell's. tia has heard a few new citizens comment that it is very confusing to have 3 or 4 people show up and start talking when they first arrive and are trying to learn to set up their profile and read the rules. Don't hesitate to be welcoming, just perhaps allow them a few minutes to acclimate to our wonderful city.

• Once again, thanks to all for making tia's transition to first girl a pleasant experience. Don't hesitate to talk to a girl if there is a concern or problem. We all should continue to work at city unity and mutual respect.
